Spark The Night
Rock Steady Boxing Sonoma supports the PD Avengers by participating in Spark the Night.
Our commitment to the Parkinson’s community extends beyond fitness and into awareness, education, advocacy, and connection.
PD Avengers is a global, patient-led alliance bringing together people with Parkinson’s, care partners, healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates. Their work focuses on giving the Parkinson’s community a stronger voice and bringing greater attention to research, wellness, advocacy, and the goal of ending Parkinson’s disease.
One of their annual initiatives is Spark the Night, a global Parkinson’s awareness campaign held around World Parkinson’s Day on April 11. Landmarks, buildings, bridges, businesses, and homes around the world light up blue to raise awareness and show support for people and families affected by Parkinson’s.
700+ Locations. 27 Countries. One Global Message.
In 2026, more than 700 landmarks and locations across 27 countries participated in Spark the Night, creating a worldwide display of blue for Parkinson’s awareness.
The blue lights are more than a visual display—they create an opportunity to start conversations, increase awareness, recognize the Parkinson’s community, and remind people that those living with Parkinson’s and their care partners are part of a much larger global community.
