About Us - Our sonoma story
In Honor Of Matthew Christopher Odetto
January 7, 1961 - May 26, 2018
Rock Steady Boxing Sonoma is dedicated to the Odetto Family, Carla, Shelby, and Chris, in honor of Matt Odetto who was the reason Rock Steady Boxing was opened in Petaluma; first Rock Steady Boxing in Sonoma County in 2015. Matt was one of our original boxers who's shoes nobody could ever fill!
Thank you Matt for leaving behind a gift of community and support to those diagnosed with Parkinson's.

Odetto Family
Thank you Carla for being who you are and believing the studio in Petaluma was a perfect match for Rock Steady Boxing. It was truly our honor to be a part of Matt's fight . His legacy now lives on in the support we provide for the Parkinson's community in two towns.
A Special Thank You to Mr. Sinan
Thank you Mr. Sinan for caring and listening to Carla's request and suggestion to bring Rock Steady Boxing to Sonoma County and your continuous support and training that extends to each and every coach/instructor throughout the Martial Arts USA, Studio Fit, and Rock Steady Boxing staff.
